Applicants will have very good Interpersonal/Communication skills (written and oral), experience supervising staff in a community setting, a Minimum of 5 years experience supporting individuals with a developmental disability, mental health and addictions. A minimum diploma and training in a related field, willingness to deliver staff training and support. Must be dependable, reliable, and family-focused.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
Coordinate and support all aspects of service delivery in our Risk Reduction Programs, ensuring the supports are aligned with our Mission, Philosophy, Vision, and Guiding Principles. Supervise daily support needs of individuals and assist in the delivery of support services. Monitor Program effectiveness.
Provide support for staff working in the Programs, ensuring implementation of policies and procedures established within the agency. Organize staff training and ensure all staff are orientated to meet our agency standards and needs of individuals.
Support individuals to complete Person Cantered Goal Planning, monitor goal attainment as per our agency standards, ensuring the quality of life indicators are included in all aspects of daily living. Engage family and natural supports to enhance social circles for individuals.
Foster a positive relationship within the community, support individuals to become responsible and contributing members of the community.
